The prose is also beautiful, and the book is a true page-turner. The pacing is great, and even though at times the story slows down, the world makes you want to know more.
It makes you want to know more about the history of the magic and its people, or even how magic impacts the characters’ lives. The magic system is different in its execution.
While the caste system is not unique, it is well thought out. The world-building is extremely well done. This book is officially one of my favorites this year. As romance blossoms, the fight is merciless.
